Googles New I am Feeling Lucky Button: Have you Checked it out yet?

Just yesterday, Googles New I am Feeling Lucky Button was already in place on Google.com. Its stellar, its playful, its puzzled and its wonderful. If you haven’t checked it out yet, then head over to Google.com and check it out!

People are saying that it hasn’t been revealed on local pages of Google like Google.co.au, Google.co.in etc, so if you haven’t witnessed it yet, you should visit Google’s official page instead.

Just hover over the I’m Feeling Lucky button and check out the awesomeness. The button changes the text dynamically and also takes you to a different page each time. After you take your mouse cursor off the button it resets the text to I’m Feeling Lucky!

Right now, the many texts on the button and the specific pages they link to are:

A Close look at the Code

If you look at the code closely, you will find Google is using the button onlick javascript function to animate the button and render different texts each time the button is hovered. It is adding a new “hvr” class when we hover our mouse cursor, and the width value changes to accomodate the text and the top parameter changes to show you a different text each time you create the javascript event.
