How To: Add Google 1 Twitter Follow Facebook Send button

Hello people, today i am going to share with you how to add Google 1 Twitter Follow Facebook Send on your site. All these three buttons were recently introduced, at first there came facebook’s send button, then twitter too introduced its follow button and then google also joined in the game by adding their +1 button.

Ok so, without wasting further time lets see how to install the Google 1 Twitter Follow Facebook Send buttons quick and easy.

Google +1 button:

Jump to this link and choose from four different sizes to install namely Small, Medium, Standard and Tall. Google’s +1 button is currently available in 44 different languages, just select your preferred one from the drop-down list and copy the code. If you are too lazy to do all that just follow the steps below.

Copy this code and insert it into your header.php file just before the tag:

<script type=”text/javascript” src=””></script>

and Copy this code where you want your button to be displayed:

With this button, now you can recommend your favourite posts to anyone while logged in and also when you perform a google search you can view which articles your friends have recommended too.

Twitter Follow button:

Facebook send button came out just last month, weeks after that Twitter too rolled out its awesome Follow button. According to analysts, Twitter’s Follow button is very helpful for webmasters as it is suppossed to decrease your site bounce rate and increase your pageviews. Now you definitely wanna integrate this button…dont you?

Ok, its very easy. Just head up to your Twitter profile page, click on Resources located in the sidebar at the bottom. Now click Create Follow button. Just set your preferences and then copy the code where you wanna insert it.

If you want the code right away, insert the code given below and replace revthatUP with your profile name.

<a href=”” class=”twitter-follow-button”>Follow @revthatUP</a><script src=”” type=”text/javascript”></script>

You can also choose to show off your followers. Now when you click on the Follow button on your blog, a popup opens just like in the Tweet button which will make your readers Follow you right from your website rather than getting redirected to your Twitter page.

Facebook Send button:

Facebook introduced its Send button back in April. Send button lets you send your favourite content to your selected group, as a message and also as an e-mail. Pretty neat, isn’t it? Now you can share your information with friends and family without leaving the site.
Ok so lets get back to technobabble.

Here is the script:

<div id=”fb-root”></div><script src=”″></script><fb:send href=”<?php echo get_permalink(); ?>” font=”verdana”></fb:send>

Place the code wherever you want the button to appear. It is available in both versions XFBML and iframe. You can edit the the Title, Image and Description of the link shared by using Open Graph meta tags in your template. If you want the code for a specific page please visit this link and specify your options and click Get Code.

Now you are latest with all the button updates on your Blog. Congratulations now with the implementation of Google 1 Twitter Follow Facebook Send buttons your site is more social!

Hi and thanx for the comment! :) As you can see in my blog there is a floating bar on the left side…it is called as “DIGG DIGG” wordpress plugin. You can make use of this plugin to align your buttons or you can also go for various sharing platforms such as “AddThis”…the very buttons i have use at the top of my post!

I wonder if it also has a dislike feature which is frequently abused for example on YouTube. I understand that any rating counts for more than no rating but rating with the intention to do harm rather than good to someone is pathetic.

We will try to get as much as +1 we can because we know the benefit of it with seo prespective (and soon we will see many people started to sell +1 as well) but a normal user do not know about it and where facebook like button is one step ahead from it.

you are right. there is a lot of hate towards a dislike button and should be curbed by all the webmasters. its good that facebook and google+ doesn’t promote such kind of buttons as youtube does. +1 sure has seo benefits. i myself have benefited a lot because of google traffic. nice point u hav made my friend! :)

Just did what you have mention and it worked. Question what about
passing a gooble +1 button in facebook?

My site has a lot of facebook like and I want to increase the count for the google +1

    • Gautam Doddamani Reply

hi i think i didn’t understand your question but i guess you are asking about how to increase your site +1’s. i had recommend you to start your own google+ page dedicated about your site and attract your friends to that page. i am sure your friends will then also visit your site and +1 it immediately, that’s what i did! :)

This is great information. I think as search engines rely more and more on social signals when deciding how high to rank a website, it’s absolutely imperative that every serious website owner integrates these sharing buttons. It only takes a few minutes and the effects can be massive! It’s a lost opportunity if you don’t bother installing these sharing icons – and the best thing is it can be done automatically using a couple of free plugins you can download for WordPress!!
