Microsoft Socl Invites available – Grab one and start Socialising!

Microsoft Socl invites available now. Quick, grab an invite and start socialising the Microsoft way. Microsoft Socl, the most newest social network that people are talking about is now open to the public.  Well yes its certainly better than most of the social networks out there, and the one that might actually have a chance to compete (if not) become a runner up behind the bigger chums such as Facebook and Google Plus.

Introducing to you the new Microsoft Socl: As soon as you are in, you will land on to the Welcome page which gives you a introductory start as to how you can interact with Socl. Browse your Feed, Search and Share, Start a Video Party are the three options listed on this page. You can immediately start doing them or watch a video to get the gist of it.

Make Friends: Making new Friends in Microsoft Socl is just like Following people on Twitter. You simply visit the profile of a friend and click the Follow button. You will start receiving that person’s updates in the People I follow tab in your Sidebar.

Update your Status: You can perform a status update by clicking in the Big white box at the top where it says, What are you searching for and then clicking the Status update button. Write something and press the Post button.

Perform a Search: Socl also has a nice feature which allows you to search for anything without having to log out of the social network. The Search Engine is obviously powered by Bing. You can start a Search the same way you make a status update, except here you should click the Search button which is denoted by a small magnifying glass in the Search box. After you perform a search and add it your feed, your friends can then see what you searched for.

Live Video Parties: The Hangouts feature on Google Plus really became a huge success and maybe Microsoft thought why not include a similar feature on Socl too. For you to Start a Video Party just click on the Video Parties tab in the Sidebar, then enter a name for your video party, Add some of your favorite videos and then finally invite your friends to watch it with you!

As of now you can log-in through your Facebook account by visiting So.cl and start using it immediately. But in case you are not able to get in we can send an invite to you. Please note we now have a limited number of invites left. Although, we will try to give out as many invites as we can!
